Palawan

We are now at a beautiful area called Palawan. We went to an underground river that is 8 km long!!! There were great stalagtite and stalagmite in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. The highest point inside was 65 meters!!! It was gorgeous. While waiting for the boat we saw a monitor lizard that was about 2 meters long. They said he was friendly but someone told us later that day that they can be very dangerous. We also saw a lot of monkeys of course stealing garbage.
Today we are in El NIdo which is a area with tons of beautiful islands. Some are sand beaches and some are cliff islands. We did some snorkling today. The views here are amazing, and after that 9 hour bus ride it is well deserved.
